I personally see more and more people trying to find a good life without this old social contract. Additionally to the lie-flat people, there's an increasing number of people who just don't want to fit into the old society structure. They search for new ways to make money, like starting a yoga school, writing a book, creating a travel vlog, or starting a surf shop. This might not generate much money - which is fine with many people I know. They don't run after money, but happiness and freedom.
